Tesla Model Y (2026) in Quicksilver
By Adam
“The refreshed Model Y is quieter, comfier, and better looking, and Quicksilver is the color to get.”
The refreshed Model Y is the electric SUV I'd recommend to almost anyone, and in Quicksilver it looks like liquid metal.
Why Quicksilver
Quicksilver is Tesla's multi-layer silver paint. In the sun it looks like polished metal, and in the shade it shifts toward a deep, glossy gray. It shows off every curve of the new design, and it turns heads in a way plain silver never could.
What's better in the new Model Y
The look
The new full-width light bars across the front and rear give it a sleek, modern face, and the whole car looks more refined than the original.
A quieter, smoother ride
Acoustic glass and an updated suspension make it noticeably quieter and calmer on the road. Long drives are relaxing.
Comfort upgrades
Ventilated front seats, a rear touchscreen for the back seat, and a cleaner, more upscale interior make it feel like a nicer car than its price suggests.
Why I'd buy it again
It's quick, practical, and cheap to run, and the software keeps getting better with over-the-air updates. It works as a family hauler, a road-trip car, and a daily driver.
